Hearing Tests

Audiometry tests how well your hearing functions. It tests both the intensity and the tone of sounds and other issues related to the function of the inner ear. 

Tympanometry is an examination used to test the condition of the middle ear and mobility of the eardrum (tympanic membrane) and the conduction bones by creating variations of air pressure in the ear canal. 

The Auditory brainstem response (ABR) test, available at Wassay ENT Clinic & Audio-Vestibular Labs, is a safe and painless test that gives information about possible hearing loss of the patient.

Auditory Steady State Response or ASSR is available at Wassay ENT Clinic & Audio-Vestibular Labs and it provides an accurate, frequency-specific estimate of the behavioral pure-tone audiogram.
